JOAN'S CHALLENGE WEEK #20
This card is my first attempt at a tile style design layering the blue and white tiles and using the Cheery Lynn Butterfly Die and the Cheery Lynn "Thank You" Die. I used blue and white paper, ink and ribbon. My sister won the stamp in a grab bag last weekend and I thought it would work for this style card.
This is the same card but jazzed up with glitter, pearls and gemstones. The pearls make up the butterflies body, the glitter accents the flower centers and the gemstones are next to the "Thank You". The camera just gave me a really hard time about showing the glitz. I took several pictures using different lighting, but still the sparkle is not very visible. Next on the agenda, Photography classes ;~)

Joan's Garden Weekly Challenge #31

For this weeks card challenge I used plain white cardstock and created the sky coloring using Versa Mark Ink. I used the Cheery Lynn framed Lattice background and leaves from Build A Flower 2. I used Marianne Creatables for the Ivy, Birdhouse and Bird. The flowers were created from Heartfelt Creations Stamps and the vertical greeting letters are Tim Holtz' Vintage Market Alphabet and are covered with glitter from PK Glitz.

Joan's Garden Challenge #21

This week Joan's Garden Challenge is to create a card using pink and white, an embossing folder, a die cut to make a window and leaves as accents.
I used a Marianne Embossing/Cutting Folder for the pink background, a Memory Box Darla Butterfly Die to make the window, I cut out 2 butterflies 1 pink (front) and 1 white (inside) using the Memory Box Vivienne Butterfly Die. The Leaves in the background are done using Cheery Lynn's Pair of Ferns, Fanciful Flourish and Memory Box's Tender Leaves.

Birthday Card for Sandy, my Broker/Friend. This design was scraplifted from the internet by a friend and I added my own touch. I used Spellbinder Grand Dies for card base and mats. Spellbinder Label die fror the greeting, Cheery Lynn flourish, recollection embellishments (pearls) and 1" white satin ribbon for bow. Greeting is from Best Creation, the message is a Hero Arts stamp and I stamped it and used gold embossing powder.
